The Northern Illinois Rebels!

Luther Wade founded the Rebels in 2002 in the Latin American
Soccer Association.
The Rebels won the league four years in a row, having
players like Jorge Valle who currently plays for the Chicago Storm in
the MISL, and Bato Radoncic who was recently pronounced the MVP of the
AISL.
The Rebels were an unbeatable team in the Lake County
area. Now in 2007 as a professional indoor soccer team, and with the help
of Sharon Ruiz, Catalina Ariza, Jose Luis Castañeda, and coach Salvador Morote,
the rebels would like to offer the opportunity to local talent to succeed
and play in the elite level.

Rebels Coach Salvador Morote Featured in Trinidadian Soccer Ad!
Salvador Morote, the head coach of
the American Indoor Soccer League’s Northern Illinois Rebels, is
being featured in an advertisement that is being circulated throughout
Trinidad and Tobago and around the Caribbean.
Morote, an internationally known psychotherapist,
has been brought to Trinidad to work with the CL San Juan Jabloteh soccer
team as well as the members of that country’s Under-17 national
team that play for that club.
San Juan Jabloteh, who play in Trinidad’s TT Pro League (first
division), are currently in first place in that league, holding a one point
edge over their nearest competitor. They are coached by Terry Fenwick,
a former English international, and play their home games at the Hasley
Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, the country’s capital.
The Rebels will open their inaugural AISL season on November 3rd, when
they host the Massachusetts Twisters at the Lake County Sports Center (351
Oakwood Ave in Waukegan). Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30PM. For more information,
contact the Rebels at (708) 539-4065.
