Excite Renew Partnership With Beacon Orthopaedics
| | | | | Dave Galus, owner of the American Indoor Soccer League’s Cincinnati Excite, announced this morning that they will be renewing their partnership with Dr. Tim Kremchek and Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine for the upcoming 2007-08 season. Beacon has been the main partner for the Cincinnati Excite in its four years of existence. With the assistance of Dr. Cha from Beacon and new partner, Oxford Physical Therapy, the Excite as well as all the AISL’s visiting teams will have the best in sports medicine care.
"We are very grateful to Dr.Kremchek, Dr.Cha, and the entire Beacon staff for their commitment to the Excite players," said Galus. "Last season we had several injuries, including a major knee injury to forward John Cipriani. Cipriani tore his anterior cruciate ligament in an early season match against the Rockford Thunder. Cipriani had surgery in December and thanks to his hard work and rehabilitation at Beacon, he will be back on the field for the upcoming season.”
"The Excite have seen the medical expertise and immediate attention given to our players. This is important for any player with any sports related injury. I hope that the soccer players, parents and clubs will take note of Beacon's commitment to helping soccer here in Cincinnati and recognize its relationship with our professional soccer team."
Oxford Physical Therapy is the newest partner of the Cincinnati Excite and will be working with Dr. Cha from Beacon Orthopaedics. Oxford's locations in the Tri-State will allow the Excite’s players easy access and quick therapy when necessary.
Beacon Orthopaedics has two locations in the Cincinnati area, 6480 Harrison Ave in Cincinnati, and 500 E-Business Way in Sharonville. For more information on Beacon, contact them at (513) 354-3700 or on their website at www.beaconortho.com.
