Rampage Name Scott Bentley Public Address Announcer
| |  | | | Oscar Albuquerque, the president of the American Indoor Soccer League’s Rockford Rampage, announced this morning that Scott Bentley from WXRX-FM will be the team’s public address announcer for the 2007-08 season.
A Rockford native, Bentley is experienced in the sports world, as for the past six seasons, he has been the public address announcer for the Rockford Riverhawks of the Frontier League. He has been with “The X” as the evening DJ the past three years. The graduate of Western Illinois University lives in Machesney Park with his wife Katie, daughter Samantha, and son Stephen.
The Rampage will open the 2007-08 season on November 3rd, when they face the Cincinnati Excite at the Game Time Training Center in Cincinnati. They will open the home portion of the campaign on Saturday night, November 17th at 7:30PM when they host the defending AISL champion Massachusetts Twisters.
