Twisters Re-Sign Jeff Deren

  
 
Massachusetts Twisters General Manager Bill Bullock announced today the resigning of forward Jeff Deren to the club for the 2007-08 season.

Deren, a Chicopee native in his first season with the Twisters lead the team in total goals and was second in total points with 30(five 2 point goals, seventeen 1point goals and three assist).

“Jeff is a star in this league, and we are very glad he is coming back for the season” said General Manager Bill Bullock.

Last season Deren lead the AISL in two point goals and finished fifth in the league with total points. Deren was a big reason the Twisters finished with a record of 8 – 5 with 25 points, finishing in first place in the regular season and went on to beat Rockford in the AISL Championship Game by a score of 11- 5 in front of 1,700 plus.

The Twisters will begin their quest to repeat for the 2007-08 AISL Championship starting on the road for the first three games and opening up at the Coliseum on December 1st 2007.
