Rampage Go to 4-0 With Overtime Win Over Twisters

A goal by Eric Luken with 57 seconds gone in the first overtime period gave the Rockford Rampage a 7-6 victory over the Massa-chusetts Twisters at the Eastern States Coliseum last night.

The game, the Twisters’ home opener, drew a AISL-season high crowd of 1188 to the Coliseum.

The Twisters (0-3) held a 5-1 lead late in the third quarter, but the Rampage (4-0) mounted a late comeback capped off by Lukin’s goal.

The Rampage’s win cemented their hold on first place in the league after the first four weekends of the season.

The Twisters will host the Northern Illinois Rebels next Saturday night at 7:30PM, and the Rampage will host the Cincinnati Excite, also at 7:30PM.
