Rampage Extend Winning Streak to Eight With Win over Tulsa

The Rockford Rampage continued their hot streak on Saturday night with a 7-5 victory over the Tulsa Revolution in front of a crowd of 715 at Soccer City Tulsa.

The Rampage jumped out to a 6-1 lead early in the third quarter before the Revs started their comeback.

Mike Rigas (pictured) led the scoring for the Rampage (8-0) with a pair of one-point goals. Roberto Gallo added a two-point goal, his first deuce of the season.

Five different Revolution (0-2) players each contributed a one-point goal.

Dimitri Meletis won his eighth game of the season, tying an AISL league record set by Paul Dellostritto of the Massachusetts Twisters last season. Stephen Hendrix took the loss in goal, coming in relief of starter Sonny Dalesandro in the first quarter.

The Revolution and Rampage will both return to the pitch on January 26th, with Tulsa traveling to Massachusetts for their first ever road match, and the Rampage will return to the Victory Sports Complex when they host the Northern Illinois Rebels.
