Twisters Announce Game Reschedule Date
Paul Lapointe, commissioner of the American Indoor Soccer League, announced that the Massachusetts Twisters will make up their November 3rd match against the Northern Illinois Rebels, which was originally scheduled for the Lake County Sports Center in Waukegan, IL, on March 2nd at the Eastern States Coliseum.
Kickoff time will be announced by the end of the week.
“Of course, we would have rather played the game in Waukegan in front of the Rebels’ home fans,” said Lapointe. “However, we were informed by Rebels management that there were issues securing their home arena, and since the team was going to be in Springfield on March 1st, we felt that it would be in the best interests of all parties to play the game at the Coliseum on the 2nd.”
